My Style & Focus

I’m all about capturing those real, unscripted moments you'll cherish forever. If your little one is sprinting around like a unicorn or happily digging in the dirt, that’s exactly what I want to see—let them shine as they are! I’m not the photographer for anyone hoping to threaten a spanking or bribe the family into standing perfectly still and saying “cheese.” Sure, I might snap a few classic, posed smiles—the timeless “grandma shots”—but mostly, I focus on the genuine interactions between you and your kids, the everyday magic that tells your unique story.

About Me

I've always been the kid with a disposable camera in hand—snapping moments before they slipped away. Back in high school, after dabbling in film photography, I discovered my true passion: capturing people and their stories. That passion led me to my first gig at Sears Portrait Studio, where I photographed babies at the mall and worked my way up to manager. It was there that photography transformed from hobby to career.

I began shooting friends and family, and before long, my business took off. When offered a photography scholarship, I said no—not because I didn’t appreciate it, but because I wanted creative freedom without boundaries. Instead, I earned a Business degree to complement my passion.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been in the business of freezing genuine moments in time, guiding people just enough to feel natural and comfortable in front of the camera. It’s about telling real stories, not just saying cheese. If I have to tell you something to say, it would be more along the lines of saying fart breath to get a genuine reaction.

I have 2 daughters that happily take up majority of my time. Becoming a mother is truly a reward, and being able to work around staying at home with them is the biggest blessing. Besides family life, I fill my time with thrifting, crafting, listening to music, and being outdoors.
